The Sixth Sense

Lines from The Sixth Sense are still whispered eerily today by those who loved the film. It was a movie that shocked and thrilled those who watched it. It was unusual and engaging however, and could hold an audience without any problem at all.

Cast

The cast of the Sixth Sense was great. Haley Joel Osment played the lead character that could see the dead people. He was quite young however he took on the role with ease. In fact, the role was one that would have scared most children to death; however Osment was fearless in his acting. Bruce Willis was another character in the film. He played the shrink that was trying to help Osment with this “issue” of seeing dead people. Willis was as good as he always is and played the role well. Supporting roles were played by Toni Collette and Olivia Williams, who did fantastic as well. The entire cast was believable and talented in their roles. They took the film seriously, worked hard, and it paid off in the end.

Script

The whole idea of The Sixth Sense was genius. The idea is something that most people fear on a daily basis. After all, no one wants to run into a trapped spirit. It is what children scream to their parents about during the night, in fear. It is what adults still wonder about, far after their youth. The idea of bringing this fear to the screen in full force was the perfect way to scare and excite those who love thriller movies.
