Often times when movie makers choose to make movies about famous characters, like Spiderman, things go wrong. After all, the fans of Spiderman expected a lot when they heard about the movie coming out. The good news is that with Spiderman, and Spiderman 2, the creators got it right. Fans were thrilled and still are today.

Cast

One of the best things the casting directors did for Spiderman was hire Tobey Maguire. Maguire is someone you would not likely think of as a super hero. However, that innocence was what helped him be more believable in the movie. In addition, he was youthful enough to play the role well, without looking too young at the same time. He was physically fit enough for the challenging role. Kirsten Dunst played the leading lady and was fantastic. She really showed she is in the business to stay and looked beautiful throughout. She and Maguire had hot onscreen chemistry.

Script

The screenplay of Spiderman is exciting and engaging. It is everything Spiderman fans could ever hope for. The whole story of how Spiderman came to be is explained in clear scenes. There is no confusion, which happens too often with films in its category. There are just talented actors and actresses making the story of Spiderman come to life on the big screen. It is well written and will have you on the edge of your seat many times throughout. It doesn’t seem to drag on and will keep your attention as well.

Something’s Gotta Give is a hilarious and dramatic look at the life of a writer who falls for a man that her daughter dated. The man happens to be much older than her daughter, and much closer to her age. The dramatic events lead them to spend a lot of time together and develop an interesting relationship with each other.

Cast

The cast of Something’s Gotta Give is immaculate. Diane Keaton plays the mother, and leading female role. She is elegant and steady, as always. She even has a nude scene and looks fabulous in it! Jack Nicholson plays the leading male role and is brilliant as well. He fits right into the story well and makes you think that dating younger women is in his blood. The two of them do well together on the screen. They play off of each other well and you can tell they genuinely like each other in reality. Amanda Peet is a great supporting actress in the film. Keanu Reeves also has appearances and is quite amusing as well.

Script

The story in Something’s Gotta Give is quite entertaining. It really is hilarious and will have you laughing out loud many times throughout the movie. The turn of events is just unexpected on all levels. No one would expect a daughter to date someone her mother’s age and then he have a heart attack at her mother’s house because they are making out and he took Viagra. The whole thing starts with humor and ends with a dramatic and humorous conclusion.

Titanic was one of the biggest money makers at the theaters of all time, if not the biggest. It was a movie that everyone wanted to see, for good reason. Leo DiCaprio was the leading male character in the film. He played a poor boy onboard that fell in love. He did an amazing job and really earned the title as being one of the best actors in the world by doing this movie. He shined like the star he is. Kate Winslet was his leading lady, who played a rich girl on board. She was amazing, as always. Winslet plays her roles with dignity and class and never disappoints. As one of the most beautiful women of the world, she fit into the role quite nicely.

The story of the movie Titanic is an unforgettable one. It is one that immediately grabs your heart and runs with it. It is a story of discrimination, love, and life. You really get attached to the characters and start to feel for their love at stake. You will laugh and you will cry, a lot. It is exciting and engaging all the way through. It is likely one of the best love stories of all time.
